ABOUT ROSEMARY
Rosemary was officially sworn into office in January 2023 to represent District 1 and was shortly thereafter nominated by the Mayor and confirmed by her colleagues on the City Council to serve as Vice Mayor. District 1 is West San José, which encompasses neighborhoods around Winchester Mystery House, Santana Row, WestGate, De Anza Boulevard, and Stevens Creek. District 1 borders the cities of Campbell, Cupertino, Santa Clara, and Saratoga.
She formerly served as Vice President of Innovation and formerly as Chief Operating Officer at Silicon Valley Education Foundation (SVEF). She served as the Executive Director of Building Futures Now in East Palo Alto. Rosemary also had been Vice President of Development and Senior Manager at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte.
Rosemary had also been a Trustee for the Santa Clara County Office of Education, Area 3, which includes Cambrian, Campbell Union, Luther Burbank, Moreland, Union and Campbell Union High School districts and small portions of San Jose Unified and Santa Clara Unified. She was formerly a Director of the Santa Clara Valley Water District.
